the holidays

That time of the year is here again. It seems like just yesterday that we were welcoming in 2010 and now, it’s all but finished.

This year has been quite a strain for me, to be honest. I won’t be sad to see it end. I only hope that 2011 is better. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that friends and family get what they are hoping for and that things work out for everyone.

For me, I’m already back home. I made the trip a couple days ago and I’ll be spending a couple weeks with the family in Jersey. It’s nice to be back. There’s always a comforting feeling about it.

Here’s hoping that everyone finds the Christmas (or in some cases, holiday) spirit and enjoys the season as best they can.
